Meelin - Founder
Meet Meelin, the heart and business brain behind Good Vibes Surf Club. Originally from Hong Kong, Meelin made a bold move to Bali to follow her passion for surfing and create the life of her dreams.
In 2018, after starting her first business and deciding to leave the busy corporate world behind, she realized the ocean was where she truly belonged. Bali, and specifically Kedungu, became her home.
In the waves of Bali, Meelin found freedom, adventure, and the inspiration to start Good Vibes Surf Club in 2021. What began as a personal journey soon turned into a desire to share the transformative power of surfing with others. To Meelin, surfing is more than just a sport—it's a path to personal growth, resilience, and discovering who you truly are.
Today, Meelin lives her dream in Bali, building a community where people can connect, learn, and experience the joy of surfing in a place she now calls home.
Nova - Head Coach
Meet Nova, our friendly ISA certified surf instructor with over 20+ years of riding the Bali waves. With his calm and positive vibes, he's not just our surf guru, but also our go-to motivational friend.
He's all about helping you crush your goals and boost your confidence, both in the water and beyond. Teaching and watching his students evolve in surfing still brings him a ton of stoke. Safety's his game and progress is his aim, and that's what keeps a smile on his face.
Leading a team of experienced surf instructors, Nova knows the ocean like the tail of his board and ensures each session is perfectly tailored to your level, whether you're a beginner or a pro.
Nova and Meelin created more than just a surf club—they've built a holiday home away from home. Together, they welcome you into their circle, making sure your Bali experience feels like coming home to friends you've known forever.

Social Impact
When you choose to surf with us, you're not only getting a top-notch surfing experience, but you're also supporting the local community in Kedungu. We rent our surfboards from local shacks and take our guests to local restaurants and shops, helping to boost the local economy. Our freelance surf coaches are all from the area and receive fair compensation for their work, as we believe in supporting the community in a sustainable way. At Good Vibes Club, we are committed to bringing people together while making a positive impact on the local surf community.

We had an amazing time at the surf lesson at Kedungu beach in Bali. The instructor was very kind and made me feel comfortable in the water. And I felt so confident with his clear instructions. This was the first time trying and transitioning from a soft top into a hard board and I was able to stand up on my board and catch a few waves.
The whole experience is amazing and highly recommended to everyone to do it! I can't wait to come back and continue learning with the good vibes team! Also the neighbourhood is super friendly, can do beer and chill by the beach after surf! Ps lots of doggies around (if you are dog lover 🐶)
